PRS®310The patented PRS®310 delivers a compilation of many old features and new state-of-the-art technology in this on-line voice message storage and retrieval system. The PRS®310 offers a new product platform that will drop into existing operator positions while utilizing digital voice technology to record telephone operators' and attendants' voices for use in a real-time call handling environment. The system can be used by anyone whose job objectives requires answering calls frequently with the same repetitive phrases. The PRS®310 reduces the monotony and associated stress of answering hundreds of calls a day. The operator gets a brief rest period between calls while the PRS®310 works to expedite the overall call process, with a benefit of reducing the overall operator work time. The PRS®310 ensures that all incoming callers receive a consistently clear, pleasant and correct greeting, making that important first impression a good one. Messages may be played automatically upon call arrival by the system, or manually by the operator through the use of a Message Cotrol Unit (MCU) key pad. The operator is always on line and able to interact with the caller at any time. The PRS®310 system supports numerous interfaces to various switching systems. These interfaces provide the intelligence to interpret call control data to provide automatic message playback The PRS®310 utilizes a removable FLASH technology memory card to store voice messages. This new FLASH technology eliminates the use of batteries, and supports 4, 8, 16, 32 and 64 minutes of recorded libraries. The messages are recorded using the PC-410 Record System© . The PRS®310 also comes with a 16 key Message Control Unit (MCU) for playback of manual messages. The new PRS®310 utilizes the latest technology, including embedded 32 bit RISC technology, allowing voice recognition capabilities at the position integrated with keyboard automation, and customer self-configuration and scripting. This system offers increased real-time capability for interface analysis, as well as keyboard interaction automation. The PRS®310 unit fits the current footprint of the PRS® family and offers upgradable interfaces. The PRS®310 can be optionally configured with limited vocabulary keyword of continuous voice recognition and voice-keyboard integration. The system offers at position integration with Centralized Data for data verification and/or transmittal. Some options available with the PRS®310 are embedded software derived audio tone (such as DTMF, MF, etc.) generation and detection, audio recording of operator at the position, local audio playback for operator cues, recording of customer audio at the position and LAN Connection support.
